Meet Bjelkie – Championing Resilience and Wellbeing in Workplaces Since 1999.
For over 30 years, Bjelkie has been at the forefront of helping businesses support their people to work well. As the founder of BL Management Consultants, established in 1999, she has dedicated her career to preventative workplace health and safety—empowering individuals, teams, and organisations to build resilience and thrive, not just survive.
Her work is deeply trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healthy people create healthy communities. With a compassionate, evidence-based approach, she works across diverse industries both in Australia and internationally, helping workplaces foster cultures of psychological safety, strength, and sustainability.
Bjelkie’s experience spans national leadership roles in WHS, HR, Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation, and has seen her navigate complex legal and interpersonal challenges. This hands-on expertise ensures her programs are not only theoretically sound but practical, compliant, and deeply human-centered.
Her resilience and mental health training programs are backed by formal qualifications in Management, Counselling, WHS, Health Promotion, Psychological Safety, and Auditing. From Mental Health First Aid and Health and Safety Representative training to Resilience First Aid and Coaching, Bjelkie provides a full suite of services that support organisations to build mentally fit, connected, and high-functioning teams.
Raised on a farm in regional NSW, her grassroots values and passion for community wellbeing underpin every service she offers. Whether you're looking to prevent burnout, boost employee wellbeing, or build a culture of safety and resilience, Bjelkie brings decades of experience—and heart—to the table.
