Instructor Bio

From the battlefield to the boardroom, Colonel Jeff Cantor has been involved motivating others.
He started Bravo 6 on a journey to help others and to teach people to be more resilient. He has over 30 years of professional leadership experience in both the public & private sectors.

Jeff enlisted in the Army as a Private First Class and through determination became commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Infantry. He holds four military occupational specialties in Infantry, All-Source Intelligence, Imagery Intelligence, and Civil Affairs. Jeff has served in dozens of countries around the world on six continents including Kosovo, Bosnia, Germany, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He retired from the military in 2017 at the rank of Colonel (0-6) in the Army Reserve. He is a veteran of the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan and has been awarded many medals and accommodations over a 32-year career.

Colonel Cantor works hard to help his fellow veterans. He started the NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce to build the infrastructure to create greater competitiveness and success for veteran business entities. He was able to raise over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, as part of the Veterans Foundation of America to help veterans impacted by adversity and donated money to family members of special operators that have been killed in the line of duty. He conducts outdoor therapy programs and takes veterans on fishing trips and equine therapy/Cowboy therapy programs.

Jeff is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician and volunteers his time riding for the Marlboro First Aid Squad. His hobbies are traveling and wine. He has been to more than 66 countries around the world and has taken the certification exam to become a certified sommelier and certified wine educator. He is married and has two adult children and an amazing golden retriever.
